I would buy the softail. You should buy the one that "speaks" to you.

Only you can make the choice, it's a subjective. Dyna's are nice, I've tried a couple and had a loaner for a day whilst my bike was being serviced a few weeks back - but I prefer the feel, ride and look of the FXSTC.

I suggestdo whatever you can to test out a WG to compare to the FXSTC and be convinced by your own experience which is the one for you and have fun choosing and then riding [sm=biker.gif]

Thanks everyone.
I'm right back at both are great, its time to test drive and see what fits.

Are the bars "ape hangers" the same on the soft tail custom and the dyna wide glide? same part #, same hight etc or at least close?

and

what is the diffrence between the softie 96B with 87.9 ft. lbs. @ 2750 rpm
v/s
the dyna with the 96 with 92.0 ft. lbs. @ 3000 rpm

will i notice the diffrence with 4.1 ft. lbs torque?

and the rpm is diffrent, is that the sweet spot?

FXSTC.Sharpest looking out the door Harley made.

If you can notice the difference in the torque, you have one sensitive azz.

It looks now like the Dyna Wide Glide will be dropped from production. And if history repeats itself a new model will replace it.

Now to wishfully guess, will they add a soft tail with a chopper front end rake like the wide glide or more?

I'll sign up now if its so.
