Craftsman replaces any damaged tools - even if you did it yourself. I got a new std screwdriver after I ground the tip to a point to punch out a stripped bolt.

I ran over a Craftsman Screwdriver with a car and chipped the tip. Barely. They gave me a new one, after I told them how I did it.
Does anyone make torx bits for an impact driver ?

I own 3 snap on tools.. a sweet torque wrench which cost me like 350 dollars heh.. gosh snap-on tools are expensive LOL.. like Flukes are..
and I got a set of deep standard sockets and regular sockets (not 12 point)
But anyways most of my tools are craftsman and since I have never broken a tool, wonder how you get them to replace a part in a set...

I have both , Craftsman & Snap on .
They all break ! And while they both
do free replacement of the broken ones .
It dosnt help at the time while you are in the
middle of A job !
I am A Ford Tech . I wish they would just do away with them !
If the torx bolt is real tight ( Hard to turn) Some times just tapping on the head of the bolt helps . But A little heat can
be your best friend , For freeing up locktite or even severly
rusted bolts !

I also broke a Craftsman torx bit removing a side plate screw. Went back to Sears & they gave me an entire new set no questions asked.

Red locktite is some strong chit. Used it on my fender struts for bag brackets. Figured stronger is better. Untill I tried to loosen it up. [:@]Next time blue it is. (In the appropriate application, of course.)

I wouldn't use red loctite on a sissy bar sideplate. If you're going to take stuff off and pit it back on I'd use blue.I rarely use the red.I have Craftsman and Mac and as stated above, they all can break

I hate Torx bolts. I was changing the brakes on my sons Grand Prix GTP and twisted aTorx tip. Big sucker too, IIRC it was like a 62.
