Discussing my motorcycle camping setup, do you moto camp? What's your setup?

A HD motorcycle that is towing a trailer full of stuff. Tent, sleeping bags, pillows, inflatable pad for under the sleeping bag, clothing, extra gas in a 1 gallon can, collapsible camp chairs, tarp, cable with lock, tools, lug nut wrench, extra trailer tire, bucket with cleaning supplies for the bike when I get to destination, fix a flat, sun tent, cooler on front that has frozen water bottles and some sandwiches...I may have to post again if I think of anything else. Maybe a camp stove and some propane cylinders and a coffee pot.

Usually, I'd agree with Diablo, just get a hotel. But, hotels can be ridiculously expensive depending on where you are. I have given this some thought and have considered purchasing a Hennessy Hammock tent.
I have a friend who has started hammock camping and says it is the best way to go; very comfortable and a very small package to pack. Only problem is sometimes you have to get creative on where/how to setup if you are someplace with not a lot of trees.

I camp from my bike. Clothes in one saddle bag. Cooler with beer in other saddle bag. Small 2 person tent, compact air mattress, fold up chair and sleeping bag strapped across rear fender and saddle bags. Oh and a battery powered radio for nights by the fire. What else you need?

camping...
This is how I have done it, with many variations on the theme. When no 'rest area' I tie the shelter-half to the bike. I also have a 6" (from the ground) cot, a 6'x8' straw mat (that rolls up nicely) to place on the ground. No tent yet.. but what I have been doing is sleeping under my bike cover attached to the edges of my cot (sort of like a hair net). Keeps the rain, bugs, snakes away and also adds warmth to a chilly night (acts like one of those 'emergency' warmth blankets). I am always adding or changing, that is the fun. Finding new/better/cheaper ways to survive without spending more… $
previously….
as of today… getting better…. (tank-bag not shown)

We have been across Canada and the USA with this setup, and were perfectly comfortable.
We have a trailer now, and can have a few luxuries. We just haven't had the time to get out on a nice long road trip and really try it out.
