Default engine paint with the pen

I was wondering if anyone has tried doing a larger section of an engine that was chipping with a paint pen pn98605bf. I have a large area where my rear spark plug is an some inside the fins on the opposite side of the cylender. I was hoping to remedy this without removing the engine. Will the pen reach the depths between the fins and will it lay out and look uniform over larger areas. I am on a tight budget as my better half is in school and I'm covering all bills but would like get this looking better. Any advice is appreciated

Never seen engine paint in a touch up pen applicator. Regular paint will not hold up to the temps. Find the proper color and type of rattle can engine paint. Take out some aluminum foil. Spray paint on that (well ventilated area, away from the bike) until a small puddle forms. Then with a small hobby type brush, transfer the paint to the part.

I agree with Badlands. You need to use engine, high temp paint. You can tape and paper off everything but the cylinders if need be and repaint the whole cylinder with out removing the engine. I've done it. I took a engine and did the cylinders with wrinkle black once and it held up for years. I sold the bike, so I don't know how long it lasted, but I had it that way for 2 years. If you go that route, be sure you cover everything you don't want over spray hitting though. Newspaper and tape are your friend in that scenario. You can also simply point the rattle can into a cup and use a brush or whatever to apply the paint if it's a small area you are doing.

Thanks for the ideas I may just give the pen a shot its only 11 bucks. I intend to spray or powder coat depending on price when I fix a base gasket leak but that might be a while
