It's just people trying out different stuff to do to their rides.
Somewhere there is a line between different, and stupid.

I'm OK with different. The big wheel though... Triple face palm.

There were a couple of sweet trikes there, and a couple of custom bobbers. There was also a beautiful CVO RK that was all chromed out...

I appreciate them and see it as a styling exercise that trickles down to the masses. My Street Glide has a 19 inch front wheel on it because of the big wheel bikes, and I like it. Might even go 21 because I think it will look good, still handle well, and not look stupid 5 years from now

But, like the fat rear tire choppers from not long ago, the big wheel bikes will fade and the next new thing will be.............(fill in the blank)
Thank you so much for your open minded opinion.......you not only have vision but you are spot on with your opinion about design and functionality

what some of you here claim is worthless...we call fun and we're proud of what we do......imagine for a minute that when you look at your $20,000. - $30,000. stock HD all black and chrome with all that after market bolt on stuff and you're all proud, knowing you bought it with your hard earned money...we might see boring....imagine that your shiny crimson red sunglow paint is the most beautiful color you've ever seen....but to us it might be lackluster..... we don't come here and **** all over your choice and call your choice worthless

How many custom built motorcycles have you bought with the intent of trading it in on ?????
...that doesn't make since..... hell.....have you ever tried to finance a custom built motorcycle...these builds are usually COD.....they're motorcycles built for people who have expendable income...... they don't worry about trade in value.....they want to look good and feel good

I personally don't see what the BFD is. If it rides down the road and they're happy with it, that's all that matters. It's their money.
