Hey Mike, sorry I didn't see ya and get to say "hi". Was there getting my 10k service done from 9 until about 1 today. Some very sharp bikes were there. Did you see the 1980 Wide Glide? I think the only thing what wasn't original on it was the pipes. Not as many vintage bikes were there as I thought there would be. And the "Semi-Custom Touring" section??? Three CVOs that didn't look like they had anything else added to them. I should have entered my bike.

To each their own but it's not for me. They just don't look like a bike you'd see on the highway...too "pretty" I guess.

Definitely not meant to be a practical rider. I think they're kinda cool though. It's basically art to me. What fab guys can dream up, and do. Crazy rake angle just to fit those big suckers in there. I bet you burn up front tires 2 to 1 vs. the back ones.

Hope that fad is over soon and they start building bikes that impress me again

Trendy and very tired.
The "low slammed big wheel" that is mostly for RG's.
Look on the cover of your bagger mags.
That's all you see.

I'll bet there's a lot more street cred and miles on these bad boys than the Harley version!
