Default Double clunk when downshifting into first

Today for the first time I noticed that when I downshift into first gear I occasionally get a double clunk with my 2012 fatboy.
I never noticed this before and was wondering what may be causing this. For example I will be coming to a stop and and just before I stop I downshift into first and I hear and also feel in the shift lever a "Clunk Clunk" as it goes into first gear. Like I said it doesn't do it all the time but I never noticed it before.
Any ideas ?????

Hmm. Not really. If it feels weird maybe change to a gear oil an let the issue develope. If it changes then you have an escalating problem. Any oil leaks?

Yep the primary chain tension is within specs. Remember my bike has the auto chain adjuster which usually has the tendency to run on the tight side of normal.
