What gets me are the ones with metric bike who just got throught paying 14k for the bike and adding another several thousand in pipes, chrome, bags, etc. etc. on it tell me they just can't afford a Harley. Hell after all the money they just spend trying to get theirs to look like and sound like one, they could have just bought one.

It doesn't bother me when someone asks how much mine cost. They go for MSRP, more or less, and that is easily obtainable on the internet so its no big secret. Funny thing is that most people assume they are $35,000 to $40,000.

But you really need to put the shoe on the other foot... When someone is telling about getting a new car/ truck/ home/ etc... I tell them for that kind of money theyhad almost enough to buy a Harley....
