Default Spoked wheels vs. cast wheels

I have just replaced my spoked rims with cast wheels and was told that my Sportster will handle differently with the cast wheels. Have any of you experienced this, and if so, how did the handling differ?

More stable in curves if anything if they're the same diameter. The cast wheels won't flex like the spokes probably do. If the front is smaller diameter it'll turn into a curve more quickly.

If there is any difference, it will be because of the difference in unsprung weight. If your spoked wheels are flexing, you have other issues...I miss the heck out of Maui. I used to live on the Big Island and go back and forth every month for work. Awesome place...

Yep. The sport bike crowd used to spend big money on wheels that would shave a few ounces off the un-sprung weight. The difference between cast and spoke is huge.

Cast wheels are truer and stronger than spokes too.

Love the look of my spokes, don't like the tube needed for them.

Plus...cast wheels are much easier to clean.
