Curiosity provoked, I did a Google search. Seems like a great bunch of nice folks. If I see one, I will nod respectfully and stay out of his way. Sadly, no Ft L chapter, so my dream of joining a real M/C remains unfulfilled.....


I know a guy who used to work at the dealership that sold me my bike - he belongs to a local "m/c"
I suspect the wife and I embarrassed the crap out of him when we saw him a at recent ride. We walked over to say hi. We had one of our pups with us - he has one of the same breed. I'm sure his buds were all "why were you talking to the RUB and his OL?. We get the dog, but that dude was wearing a RO-Lex for gawds sake and His OL doesn't have huge silicon fun bags!"

 

We were recently at a charity event where two of their members were caught taking surreptitious photos of people's patches with their phones. It didn't go over well. (I didn't see any 1% patches at the event)

The organizer was upset that they pissed on his charity event and the attendees thought it crossed a line. As my DH said, it wasn't the photos, it was the manner in which they were taken.

It also meant that a lot people decided not to attend the recent IO charity event.
