Hell YES. A 2006 Dyna is soooo much more rare that it's bound to bring high dollars from Barrett Jackson auctions in the future.
2006 with 88 and 6-speed = $$$
They'll be held in high regards like the 1967 split window Corvette with a 427.
'06's are a great investment. The only Harley to truly appreciated in value.

I had a 1969 Buick GS 455 in high school. The transmission went out, and it had to go to the shop for a few days.....I drove the 63 instead of riding the bus because of sports practice. All my buds loved the Vette. I hated it. My Buick had factory power steering, and A/C...
The Vette rides like a log truck, too.

Ok, my bad. Just came into the fold with my new road king std 07 and happened to see a used ultra classic on the dealers web site I get my beemer serviced at. Nice blue color and it was an 06 model.
Sometimes when motorcycles get updated it is not always for the best but it would appear that hd got it right on the first try for the most part. I understand the 'do not buy first year' thought process; maybe if I had thought more about it I too would have waited but she rides fine so far as I know. Yes the 5th gear sound is more then 2nd thru 4th (of course due to how those are cut). By the time I'm in 5th or 6th I too busy bitching about the wind knocking me around to care aboutthe sound coming from the transmission. I keep telling myself I live in florida, it is hot most of the year so I don't need a classic std or ultra as my harley ride.
Any thoughts on cutting down the wind with my ride the way it is setup? Adding highway pegs though figure anything I do to cut down on the wind flowing under/around the windshield will just mean more heat staying near me that is coming off the engine. Maybe the highway pegs will help just a bit when used...I will get them on this weekend and see if using them will cut/change the wind flow...in a good way.

Mine is a 2006, and the only thing I want is the gear set from the 07. The gear ratios are a little better for the hiway.
I do not care about the cubes, as my Outlaw is 107" and tweaked from std config anyway (about 120hp/same torque). So it kinda moves rather briskly.
