When I got my Super Glide the odometer said .1 that was July 5th of 2013. It is now over 25000. I don't know about test miles at the factory or set up by the dealer but evidently mine wasn't treated to either one.

the main odometer doesn't show tenths, so you were looking at the trip meter. your odometer might have said 24,999 and you rode one mile home.....

My Springer is almost 10 years old. I really don't remember how many miles, if any, were on it. All I know is that I wanted it so I bought it.

15 miles on mine when I bought it. Should probably consult an attorney. I was sold a used bike as new. Don't know what happened during those 15 miles but I can tell you about the 69 thousand plus since then. Lol.

I never thought about checking mine when I got it new in 07.. but the title says she had 3.6 miles..

I do remember it had 40 something on her when I got her home which the dealer is about 40 miles from home..

after thinking about it... I'd reckon I wouldn't want a NEW bike with 250 miles on her either.. just me

one reason I buy new is to Know how it gets broken in... I'd buy one with 250 on the clock but I'd expect a discount...

It's be nice if all dealers had a Demo in all bikes for people to ride and then sell them as demo's with a good deal and still not loose $$$ on the price.. as in dealer cost price.

In 1978 I bought a brand new Super Glide from Harley Davidson of NYC ( which at the time was located in queens on Northern Blvd), at the time of pick up i was given the same bike i ordered but with different serial number than was on the title 3 weeks and 600 miles later I get a call not to ride the bike anymore that they are going to deliver my bike and pick up the original bike they released, a couple of weeks later I'm in the showroom and there is the bike with a new speedo reading 0 miles with the exhaust pipe all blue and yellow just the way i gave it to them since then I don't trust anything they tell me.

You guys worry about too much. These bikes are built to ride. I would certainly look the bike over for any scratches or damage but so what if it's got a few miles on it. Anything under 50 miles and I wouldn't blink an eye. Over 50 would not concern me either but I would try to use it as bargaining chip to get some money off the bike.
