Hi AAA, I moved from Upstate NY (Rochester) in 89 and never looked back! I live in Kitty Hawk, NC.

Hey, the Outer Banks Bike week starts tomorrow! Ride 4 hours east and have some fun! It's not huge like Daytona or Sturgis but it's OUR bike week.

NC is a very active Trap shooting state you can visit WWW.TARHEELTRAP.COM and get an idea and it does not cost anything to sign up. This site is maintained by an individual from Greensboro that is a very nice guy. There are quite a few ranges close to the Greensboro area and some real friendly shooters. If you are interested in competing in ATA registered shoots, PM me and I'll try to send you in the right direction.

Skeet is also an active sport in NC for the milder shooters many ranges have dual fields.

I can agree with Jimmy Dee on that one. If you want to shoot ANY kind of clays...trap, skeet, sporting clays, whatever....NC is the place to be.

Alas, at my age I don;t really have the chance or health to do it too much any more. It's to the point that I'm selling my Clays gun.

Congrats on the move...did something similar back in '06, moved from NY/NJ down to the Atlanta metro area. Absolutely love living here, the climate is better, the cost of living is massively better, and the riding we have within a short drive from home is just amazing.

Hope you enjoy NC, good luck.
