I used to like Jesse James. I thought his stuff was the bomb, when he first started to become famous. Before monster garage and all that. Don't get me wrong, I still have respect for the man's talent. But when WCC gear started showing up everywhere (Walmart) I knew that he had sold out. That's when I lost respect for him as a person. His motto ought to be 'anything for a buck'.
It is a 2 edged sword. On one hand I like the charitable activities these guys (WCC, OCC) do. In Particular I liked the work that OCC did with Kyle Petty. On the other hand, these guys are blatent sellouts. I mean pez dispensers, come on. Nothin like keepin it real.
I just pray to god there is never such a thing as Kendall Johnson pez dispenser.

I did some work on one of there bikes it was a brand new one. I don't know who put this one together but when it came to the wiring it was about the worst piece of crap Ive ever seen. This bike had less then a 100 miles on it and the guy that owned it couldn't get more then about 6 or 8 miles with out blowing a fuse. We pulled one section of wire out of it that had 5 or 6 taped up splices in it in a 2 foot piece of wire and there were strands of wire sticking out of connectors all over inside the headlight shell and shorting out. The rest of the bike wasn't to bad and it did ride good but a $40,000+ motorcycle with that poor of workmanship is Bull Sh-t. For less then half the money and some time you could build a lot better bike and really have some thing to be proud of.

It has always been my opinion that OCC builds bar hoppers. That stuff ain't made to be ridden farther than the next bar. Some of it makes my *** hurt just lookin' at it.
I could care less about their success. It was mostly a matter of good timing and marketing. But the overpriced bikes they sell are strictly eye candy.
I was favorably impressed with Jesse James until I saw Motorcycle Mania III where he whined about his success and his pornstar wife.
Guess I'll have to stick to Matt Hotch, Hank Young, Mitch Bergeron, Mondo, Kendal Johnson, and them boys from Australia.

Wayward Son: There is a difference between "idealism" and "honesty". Let's be honest now....If someone offered you a few million dollars to stick your mug on a lunch box and other items at Wal-Mart, how fast would you jump at it??!! I hear what you are saying, hard to dodge the money, but I like to think that some things are not for sale.

All the big names are the same. If they didn't have the drama they wouldn't have as many people watching the show. Some of the things people **** and moan about with OCC all the rest do as well. As far as the bikes breaking down, hey **** happens. Look at biker build off, many of those bikes have small problems that break them down for hours at the side of the road.
BTW, do you really think JJ rides across country on a hardtail chopper all the time?? I think not. Even the hard core HA wouldn't put on more than 4-500 miles a day on the old hardtails and even that was pushing it according to Sonny Barger. You can't believe everything you see on TV people. Anyone of these guys making millions on bikes are not doing all the work themselves.
That is why I prefer the little guys they have on Biker Build off recently.
Ok I'm done now.

Well, that premiss went out the first time a woman agreed to have sex with a stranger, for money.Since then, anything and everything has been/is for sale.

If O.C.C. had as many bikes on the road as H.D. does there would be a lot more issues tha the ones we see on the posts here. The bikes that are built by O.C.C. are for high dollar corprate images ....picture taker bikes. And I'm sure you'll never see the C.E.O. of Caterpillar taking the CO.'s O.C.C. bike out for the day!Or any one else.Nun the less the are extreamly wealthy for the reasons of image------Hey come over see our new O.C.C bike.Looks just like a Catterpillar piece of equipment???------O well Vinn's pretty cool.
