Default Sent my seats off to get customized......

I took the passenger seat and the sissy bar pad off my streetbob and sent it to a leather place. I am keeping the solo seat so I can ride while it is being done. They are going to make me a new solo seat. It will have cognac colored gator on the seat with black ostrich on the sides. The passenger seat and the sissy bar pad will match. They are using embossed leather and are improving the foam for comfort.

Sound nice? If you have any other suggestions, I would love to hear them. I have about 4 or 5 days to change my mind about the choice of pattern and colors. Your input will be greatly appreciated!

Denim

PS (I really prefer the look of the bike with only the solo seat but it is too impractical for my life right now)

Who is doing the work for you? Is it expensive?

Bar Enterprises in CA--Should come to about $350. I thought that sounded reasonable for all three pieces.

Denim......In my lexicon anything pimp related is a huge compliment ! [8D]

Don't think I haven't considered doing something custom to the Nightrain's seat - durability's a concern,I'm rough on my equipment. It's notcustom, but saw a Corbin version of the Badlander while at the dealer today and really liked it.Looking forward to pics when you get the new seat rolling.

I know--I took it as a compliment! I will post pictures when I get it back. Do you think it won't be durable? It sounded pretty tough to me.

Make sure you post some pics when it is all done and on the bike. $350 sounds reasonable and fair...I just went through the "what do I do" with a seat and I am glad that I did....
