Default Most BEAUTIFUL Sportster I've Ever Seen

Everybody has different tastes, but this bike is the most beautiful Sportster and indeed one of the most gorgeous bikes I have ever beheld. I've always loved iron head Sportsters, but this one just kills me and makes me want to throw caution to the wind; to find and pay whatever whatever it takes to own it. So clean it's almost a shame to ride it...almost.

I gotta agree with you HMBD. Always had a place in my heart for a (pre'79) XLCH.
Thank God there's still a few left that someone didn't mess it all up by making a "bobber" out of it.

Nice looking bike, but I am curious. Why does a bike need an upper end re-build after only 15,000 miles?

my 72 sporty got a valve job freshening up about every 7-8000 miles. then along came unleaded and had to have exhaust seats installed. motors didn't last as long as they do now

Pretty bike. Shifter on the right side, brake on the left.

Back in the day of that Sporty, cars only lasted 100,000 mi before they were junked.
