Garmin Nuvi 550 WATERPROOF GPS. Just received this back from Garmin, and it is a never used (other than for photo here) refurbished unit. Like new condition, it still has the protective removable cover over the screen as seen in the photo.

Looking for a waterproof GPS to put on your motorcycle that you also use in your car? This is it, and much cheaper than the ones that Harley is selling for around $800. And, it works great.

Garmin installed the new 2013.10 North America maps on this unit (gets you United States and Canada) so it is ready to go. Comes with the USB cable to connect/charge on your computer. You will need to get your own mount for either your car or motorcycle, which can be found from places like RAM and Amazon pretty cheap.

Again, just back from Garmin, so just like new.

Fairshake above paid for the device, then started sending threatening emails that he would contact the police about me for fraud...before I could even mailed out the package Monday since it is now the weekend! Claimed I lied about what I was selling, even though it is very clear what I am selling. Then refused to pay for the postal postage I already paid for when he changed his mind, so I took the loss and refunded every penny even though I was called a liar several times even after sending proof on things such as the payment of the postage label I did online (which he said was absurd and not possible to do). Gotta love people sometimes.

So...for any prospective buyer, please read what is being sold. This is the NUVI, not the ZUMO. It is waterproof, can be used on a motorcycle, and does not have all the features many riders do not utilize on the more expensive GPS models such as XM radio, route prediction, traffic updates, etc.

 

Good price for a nice GPS, have had the same model on my bike(s) for more than 50k miles in many down pours all types of weather. Wish I could justify owning two, the 550 is getting harder to find at a decent price. Good luck with the sale.
