I've looked and there is no makers mark anywhere on the watch that I can see. It is in Rafferty's Harley collectibles and memorabilia price guide that was published in the 1990's and it doesn't give a maker either.

I have been watching ebay for these for about the last 4 or 5 years and have only seen 3 or 4 come up for auction in that time.

It's not what I would call a high quality watch. If I remember correctly they sold new for around $10.00 back in 76.

I neglected to mention in the OP that I also had the "hair spring" replaced recently.

I did see one in the Harley Museum in Milwaukee the last time I was there. I don't know if anyone at the Museum would be able to tell us who they were made by or not. Might be a project for me though.
