FS:Street And Steel Heavy Duty Deep Pocket Leather Chaps
Hey Gang,
Thank you all for your response and interest to my other items. I am still digging in my closets and storage boxes and turning things up that now seem like they belonged to someone else!
Here I have a set of Street And Steel Heavy Duty Deep Pocket leather chaps. I got these for Xmas some years ago and used them primarily for cold weather riding. They are great chaps, made from heavy yet soft leather. The inside of the legs is lined down to just below the knee. They are called Deep Pocket chaps because the pockets are just that; very deep which helps keep anything you put in them from shaking out and getting lost on the road. They also come with removable cold weather liners. The waist has some expansion via leather chord on the back. Heavy duty YKK zippers work perfectly. Chaps generally don't come with hemmed and are meant to be cut to length based on the individual user. I NEVER cut these and just rolled up the bottoms when I wore them so they have retained their original length.
The chaps are in great shape with no scratches or tears. I regularly cleaned and treated the leather with mink oil. The only defect that I can find is that the stitching on the accessory loop on the waist is coming undone. Easy fix. I took a photo to show this one minor defect. Otherwise they are in perfect usable shape. As always, they come from a pet and smoke free home.
These retail for $199.
I would like $100 plus shipping or meet for local pickup. I accept only PayPal from verified users.

Back

The only defect:Lose stitching on the accessory loop.

Measurments
24.5 inches at the widest point.
17 at the lowest.
Hope that helps.
When I got these I weighed around 240 and wore a size 38/32 jeans. The waist and thighs fit fine. They were long at the bottom as they usually but like I said, I never cut them.
