Unused bottle of 1999 Dom Perignon in gift box
1999 Dom Perignon unused in original gift box. This is a great for a special celebration or to keep. Asking $160.00
Winemaker's Notes
Pale yellow with golden highlights. On the nose, the initial notes of fresh almond and grapefruit gradually lead into cashew nut and spices complemented by lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, texture unfurls on the palate, embracing and caressing it. Momentary weightlessness with a vibrating finish arouses the taste buds with controlled ardor. The persistence is remarkable, with the slightest undertone of tartness (citrus zest and buds.)
The Dom Pérignon Vintage 1999 has a special way of holding its final note on and on. It's as if it doesn't want to let go. It's surprising, unique and magnicent.
Critical Acclaim

Wine Enthusiast - "This is a wine that thrives on tension between its structure, opulence, elegance and poise. It is certainly ripe and opulent, but it is so well balanced and layered with acidity, and flavors of almonds, orange peel and kiwi fruits. It will certainly age."
W&S94
Wine & Spirits - "This young wine has a potent mousse and equally brisk acidity. Its flavors are bright white, from chalk to fresh cream; they take some time to meld with the vibrant structure, coming together with air, lithe and refined. Richness develops in scents of brioche, mouthwatering with a fat Belon oyster, built to age."

Not on my watch...
"1999 Dom Perignon unused in original gift box. This is a great for a special celebration or to keep. Asking $160.00"
Choke-Gasp-$160.00???
Dom is over-priced and over-rated! Buy KORBEL (AMERICAN); a fine sparkling champenoise, produced in Guerneville, California, served at United States Presidential Inaugurations, and SOLD at less than ONE-TENTH the price of the frog bilge water.

storage is everything for this. How long have you owned it and how has it been stored? has it EVER been cold? is it stored in the box or open like seen in the picture? the more info you have the better, humidity, light, temp, etc?
if not stored properly you're selling a sealed display bottle (there's some value in that too) but without proper storage it's literally just "sour grapes" to drink

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to pass, doing some research, '99 isn't a "desirable year". Still good Champagne, just not "awesome"
Was looking for a couple bottles for the home wine cellar, and with the research pointing me towards other years for better drinking.
good luck with the sale
