Anyone install the new tw-777's in a 96 cu? I've got a 96" in my 2007 fxst and I'm going to upgrade my cams, I was originally going to go with the 555's but I just seen these? Future plans are to get the 107 fm kit so I'm thinkinging the 777's are probably a good choice but just wanted to hear what others have to say

 

If you are just gonna do the 107" and not get the heads done I would go 555's, if you are gonna work the heads, increase flow and bump the CR, then the 777's. The 777's shift the power curve to the right and don't give any advantage with stock heads.

 

So will the 777's be fine for a year or so. I plan on doing cams this winter and then the 107 next winter nd will do the heads next winter as well

 

oh, heck yeah. They will be a hoot, and they will really come alive with the headwork. Check this out from today.

Here are the dyno results for the 107" build we just put together. This 107" motor was setup at 10.5 compression, Fuel Moto Level B heads, Wood's TW-777 cams, 54MM Throttle body, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot mufflers and tuned with Dynojet Power Vision. It makes great power with an especially broad torque curve
