Default Fit problems with V&H BigShots Long on 2011 Deluxe

Help!!!

I spent 3 hours last night trying to get these to fit, there just does not seem to be enough width between the pipes at the header to fit the engine. Per the directions you insert the rear header first then bring in the front, it won't go around the corner of the engine. I have taken off the entire brake assembly and tried all kinds of approaches, but there just doesn't seem to be enough width between the headers to fit the jugs.

This is frustrating, I just put a Pro-pipe 2-1 on my Ultra and that took like 5 minutes, this is a joke.

Any ideas?

Just a thought, but can you measure each pipe flange to flange and compare? Maybe you're not going crazy, but they sent you the wrong pipes?

I agree they probably sent you the wrong pipes, I installed the V & H big shot longs on my 2010 crossbones without any problems.

If you are having an issue fitting the pipes you are welcome to contact us and we are more than happy to help out, you can also verify the part number and application right on the box.

Pipes are on. Got myself a new helper and my not mechanically inclined wife sat on the sidelines. It was a lot easier but still tricky. Thanks to Fuelmoto for taking my call promptly yesterday and their readiness to do whatever was needed.

Update, got the Power Vision today and loaded it. Bike runs amazingly nice now. Thanks Jamie and crew!

That's great to hear. I was wondering how those pipes turned out
