Default 2012 103" Touring Exhaust & Wood TW-777 Cam Dyno Testing

Here are some results from an archived thread where we tested a few products on a 2012 Ultra Limited 103". We have replaced the exhaust system with our Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe and Dyno Tuned mufflers, replaced the air cleaner, and Dynojet Power Vision. We will be testing a couple of products, primarily the new Knight Prowler TW-777 cams which is the latest offering from Wood Performance. We worked with Bobby in development on some of the initial specs that we were looking for, we absolutely love the TW-555 cam and wanted an option with slighly more lift for when we can use it such as with our 107" kit, with our FM Level B heads, and were interested to see how it working straight into a stock 103" motor. The TW-777 ended up what Bobby is calling "a TW-555 on steroids", which seems pretty appropriate.

Here are the dyno numbers for the 2012 Ultra Limited 103", Wood TW-777 cams, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe, Jackpot 4" mufflers, FM stage 1 and a full dyno tune

Here are the results for the 2012 103" bike with TW-777 cams and our Fuel Moto Level B cylinder heads. We picked up a solid 10 Hp, at 110Hp117Tq this makes for a very strong running factory 103.

Ok Jamie, now you have to post the 107" kit with tw-777's and level B heads. There are probably hundreds of us waiting to see. It's 20 degrees here this morning so winter upgrade plans are spinning in my brain

This looks like an incredibly fun ride without a lot of work.

Any chance you can overlay a 103 with heads and a 555?

Here is a comparison between the TW-555 and TW-777 cams in factory 103's with FM Level B heads, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipes, Jackpot mufflers and a full dyno tune. The red trace Run_16 is the TW-777 and the blue trace Run_06 is the TW-555. Note these runs are for representation only as they are from 2 separate bikes on different days

Thank you Jamie.

It appears that there's really no worry of over-camming with the 777 at this level.

We have now put TW-777's in a wide variety of motors and they have worked out very well, we have even bolted quite a few on them in motors with stock compression and have been pretty surprised with the results. This cam works especially well for those who plan on expanding on their build in the future with headwork etc..

Jaime do you Dyno have a 12 Limited with fatcat AC and these 777 cams?

All of the Fatcat equipped 107"/TW-777 builds we tested have been done with our Level B heads
