I have a 2011 Street Glide 96" and I'm thinking about the stage 1 kit - dyno tuned mufflers, stage 1 air cleaner, and dyno jet. I read the review on this and have looked at the dyno charts on this versuses stock. Does this combination reduce some of the heat coming from the headpipes?

Or getting a stage 1 plus headpipes. How much of a performance improvement is there with the headpipes over the stage 1 with stock headpipes? Is there a bigger reduction in heat? Are the headpipes in stock now?

Also, the air cleaner included with stage 1, is it a K&N filter?

 

The mufflers, Stage 1 air cleaner and PC-V will certainly help with heat and you will see a very good increase in performance. The biggest gains however heat wise are going to come from replacing the head pipe with the Jackpot 2/1/2 and you will also see a big increase in performance, this works very very well. Currently we are about 2-3 weeks out for head pipes.
