Default PCIII breaks my starter?

I have posted this on another forum but want any ideas-I bought my PCIII from Fuel moto and 40,000 miles later I still like it. However this is what I heard from HD today.

So I went to HD this morning to have my bearings checked, (wheel) they found the front bad and warranty replaced it.
I mentioned my starter was grinding on occasion and they told me it was my PCIII and the fact I didn't have o2 sensors on the bike. They gave me engine codes of PO134 and PO154 and wouldn't address the starter issue. I may have to get help tweaking PCIII for starting (this only happens now and then, the grinding more often).
My Question, has anybody heard of the PC breaking starters? Sounds like crap to me. They actually suggested I go hook up my o2 sensors with my PC sensors, I think they been smoking something.

A( is there a setting on the PCIII that will help some of these starts

B(has anyone heard of this before

C)anyone familiar with those codes

I was sort of assuming my crap starts when they happen were partly due to the compensator and was thinking of going to the SE compensator

I've heard of PCIII's dropping like flies but I've never heard of one taking out the starter.

I don't believe it.

The PC III is in no way related to your starter problem

I'd remove the PC III, re-connect your o2 sensors and take it to a different dealer to have it serviced.
