Default O2 sensors

Is it true that the pc111 bypasses the O2s on a 2007 fatboy? And do you remove them and plug up the pipes?

What happens to the o2 sensors when left in the headpipe after running the PCV. If something happens to the PCV will the o2 sensors still be functionable over time when put back into service?
thanks

Yes, the sensors are not used. Most of us just leave the sensors in the head pipes.

On factory O2 sensor equipped bikes with the PC you will use O2 eliminators. Because the factory sensors can only measure a small are near 14.6:1 and only provide feedback when they are switching and in closed loop, they cannot be used when you require a AFR richer than 14.6:1 with these products.

Jamie,
When the o2 sensors are left in on 2010 bikes will the become bad over time due to being inactive inside the headpipe. thanks

This should not be a problem with these narrowband sensors. There can be issues with Wideband sensors if they are left unpowered as a it uses a driver/controller to maintain the pump cell and control voltage to prevent overheating, but a narrowband sensor does not use this logic and uses constant voltage to get the sensor up to temp much faster. On our 2010 Touring model we have unplugged the sensors with PC-V during our R&D and also re-plugged back in while testing some other products with no issues.
