Default flushing an ABS system

Hey fellas

I have a new 2014 with ABS and yes I have a service manual. The question is I like to service my bike myself. And that includes flushing out my brake fluid. The manual states if the line have been open then it must be put on a digital technician 2 for the bleeding. So can and should I still flush the system out myself??? What have you guys with abs been doing?????? Tia swifty

I have ABS and want to install SS braided lines with chrome calipers. Shop manual says you can use a bleed vacuum set-up to flush air out of the system. Just thinking about using a vacuum, this should pull fluid through the lines, thru the ABS controller, and down thru calipers. Just gotta make sure you keep fluid topped off in reservoir. I've never done this but am willing to try it. Any mechanics out there with any experience on bleeding ABS?
