RE: Rear shock adjusting
If you look in the manual for the adjustment proceedure, which is lifting the bike off the floor and breaking the locknuts loose, you shorten the shocks about 1 1/2 complete turns evenly and re tighten the locknuts. That should get you in the right area. They all seem to bottom out after a few miles and need an adjustment.

RE: Rear shock adjusting
Thank you sir. I looked in my manual (I should of mentioned that in the original post) and it said to adjust with it on the side stand and never mentioned anything about how many turns, loosing after a few miles, how many turns = how much preload or anything. It's the factory manual too.
Thanks again
You been getting any riding time in?

RE: Rear shock adjusting
I put the rear suspension lowering kit on my Dyna and it has started bottoming out. I looked in the manual and even checked out the DIY forum, but I can't figure out how to adjust. The manual talks about there being 15 click positions, and to rotate clockwise, but I can't get them to budge. What's the secret?
