Anyone put one of these on a 2000-2002 Fatboy? If so what is the widest tire you can get on the bike with the factory wide tire kit?

Save your money. Just take the fender mount bolts and turn them around so the button head is on the inside and put an acorn style nut on the outside. With this you can mount a 150/80-16 with no problems. I did it to my 01 FXSTS and had no problems even after I lowered it. H-D's kit with the offset spacers and brake caliper will move the tire to the right a 1/4 inch but guess what, you'll still only ba able to mount a 150 tire. Anything wider then that and you have to cut the frame struts off and go with an aftermarket kit.

 

Thanks! That's what I'm going to do. Not sure if it's worth it to do the 180 or 200 for the kind of money involved.
