Default Fork Springs Install Tip

I wanted to share something I thought of while installing Ricors. I have read about using 1 1/2" pvc to seat fork seals. The same pvc can be used as a clamp to hold up the fork tube while using a piece of plywood to set the fork tube cap on. The plywood has a hole cutout the shape of the cap bolt head. You lean onto the plywood with your shoulder, pushing the spring down into the tube and cap onto the tube, and turn the fork tube with your hand, screwing the cap on. The tube turns, not the cap or plywood. It took just a few seconds to get the threads going and cap on. Very quick, simple and cheap. And, a one man job.
