Default Brake fluid Leaking, what do you suggest?

Hello, I am new here, just got a used 06 bob. I have brake fluid leaking. Do you think it has been cracked? or maybe overfilled? We thought maybe air got under there when it was trailered. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Where is it leaking from? If it's between the top cover and the resivoir, make sure the screws are snug. If it's one of the banjo bolts, make sure they are properly torqued. If that doesn't fix it, you may need new gasket or banjo washers.

Sorry leaking from the top. I took off the seal, cleaned it and put the top back on. If I tightern to much, the seall seems to crpamp up. I will try it a little looser.

Hey Jax...i'm sure you already figured it out and fixed the prblem, but FYI the torque spec for the top MC cover on my 05 FXD is only 6-8 ft lbs. Not very much.

A new gasket would be cheap insurance for having good brakes. Remember dot 5 fluid.
