Rear Wheel " WOOBLE "
Hi Guys
I have a rear wheel WOOBLE on my 1985FLHT Electra Glide Classic.
It was recommended by my Harley guy who owns his own shop and is very good. He suggested that I look at: TRUE-TRACK
Have any you guys out there ever had this STABILIZER install on your Harleys ?
My wheel bearings are new.
My shock mounts are good.
The only part ( Swingarm Rubber Bushings ) have never been changed.
They're 27yrs. old.
Need your suggestions and opinpions on this important matter guys.

This a sudden problem on a long time owned ride of is it a new ride to you? Personally Id change out the bushings before anything else, their probably shot. FYI, different bike but I installed a Sputhe set up on my FXDXT with some improvement but still squirrley at 90ish. It also added some more vibes to the bike.

Check the spokes for tightness.
Retro fit to bearings in the swing arm.

HI SCHOONER
As someone that installs these True-Track units I would also agree that with the age of the bike knowing you are still running cleve blocks these will need to be replaced and then you can add the True-track. If you add any stabilizer with worn swing arm components you woun't get the full effect of what the product will offer thus you would still incur some rear steer aka wobble. True-Track offers bearing bronze bushings to replace those cleve blocks, these are oil light bearings along with a stainless steel axle. You can purchase new rear rubber isolators directly from them as well or get down to you local dealer and pick these up: Harley OEM part number 47564-86B or TT part number 20-93
Give 'em a call, they're helpful and won't steer you wrong.

The Change Of The Bearings & Rubber Mounts
Hi hockey 8787
I guess the title says it all.
I'll change both rubber bushings and bearings. The bike is 27yrs. old.
Its time, this change will more than probably correct the WOOBLE.
THANKS - 4 - YOUR SUGGESTIONS GUYS
