Default brake lights

Ok guys i need some help i have a 07 street glide and i had to lock up my back brakes to avoid hitting a car and ever since i have done that when i hit my back brakes my tail lights dont come on i have been told it was my brake switch has anyone else come across this?

Sounds like a brake switch to me. Have you pulled the bulb to be certain the element is not burned out?

yes i have checked the lights all are good and they work when i pull the front brake

You could pull the switch and put a test light on it to check the output... but I would just replace it.
