I purchased a set of the stock air shocks off ebay for $130 and put those on. Ohlins seem a little pricey, but you have to ask yourself, what is a nice ride, and good handling worth to you.
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Ohlins are not at all pricey! What you will find is that many members spend money on cheaper shocks, sometimes on several sets of them, before eventually buying Ohlins from HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal. Much cheaper to buy them instead of many of the alternatives out there! MM offers decent discounts to HDF members and custom builds them for YOU.

I would recommend also looking into the Glide Pro Stabilizing System. We have installed them on both the newer and the older frames. Our tech was impressed at the difference it made in the ride.
