Guys and Gals,

I have converted my mids to forwards. Everything is installed but what do I do with the forward shift lever coming out of my primary. I installed it without taking my primary off. What is the best route to go? Bike is a 2011 FXDB

Take off the lever and cover the shaft with a chrome cap (available at any H-D dealership).

I was talking about the shift linkage part. Mids shift point has a cap over it .

 

I misunderstood your question at first.

The Indy who did mine used a clip to attach the front linkage connector so it was stationary and not rattle around. I think it came with the H-D kit but not sure.
