My HD inverted front end just came in. I have gotten quotes from 3.5 to 5 hours for install at local dealers. Anyone know where it should come at for install time? I just do not get a good feeling with this large of a spread on time to install.

I'm rather lost as to why you ask this question? You have a simple choice, go to the dealer who gave you the lowest quote, or spend more! You could phone round again and ask why they quote the hours you mention.

 

i am assumign front end is just trees, tubes and axle ? i would think soemwhere i nthe 3-4 hour range is bout good for a dealer tech gettign paid by the hour and billign by the hour.

i can strip my stock front end in an hour and re assemble it in another hour but i dont get paid by or bill by the hour LOL

 

For this we would be 3-4 hours labor.
