I want to swap the stock bars on my 89 flhs, My stock bars have the air resevoir. Any ideas if someone makes apes with a chamber or any fixes I can do so I can install apes? I appreciate any input you may have

 

If you're not married to the air suspension, you could probably disable it. I removed all the air plumbing on my 2000 RK and plugged the holes in the fork caps. With the air system gone, you can run whatever handlebars and grips you want.

Can't say. I made the mod in conjunction with installing Progressive Suspension springs to undo the lowering kit the previous owner had installed. The bike handles well with the PS springs and no air, if that helps.
