Default Handlebar Bushing Part Number

I have a 97 RK (FLHR) and I would like to know if an yone could direct me to where I can find the OEM part number for the handlebar riser bushings. I am going to install 16inch 1 1/4 apes soon and I plan on changing my old bushings while I am in there. Thanks

If you are going with 16 inch apes, think about replacing the oem bushings with polyurethane bushings. PN 56486-01 (but check to make sure it fits your bike.) The OEM rubber ones will allow too much flex in the bars.

Disregard this - the above part number is for chrome riser cup washer kit, not poly bushings.

That is what I am going to do, but all descripitions I have seen are very vague on what bushings fit what bikes...I was thinking that if I had the original OEM part number for the rubber bushings I could cross reference them to a poly bushing.

Thanks...I happened to find those last night...I just hate having to pay MOCO prices...34.95, I Think...for something that simple...I may call Custom Chrome, or Drag specialties and see if I can cross-reference that part number so I can save 15 bucks, or so. If I find out a CC or DS part number I will post it for all.

Has anyone installed the poly bushings56298-03 ? I swapped out my fork lock, and while I was in there, i installed these bushings. Now I can't get the handlebar cover to sit properly....seems to have raised the riser assembly by about 1/8" or so. dont know whether I missed some spacer on the fork lock (i have the parts manual, and there shouldn't be any) or if it is just the new poly bushings.

Any advice/experience with these?

thanks!
