Default brake caliper bolt size ??

Anybody know what size socket I need for those 12 point bolts holding on the calipers ? Also what is the torque setting ??

Bridge bolts - 12pt/10mm. Torque 28 to 38 ft-lbs

Save that 10mm. You will also need it to get the battery posts loose.

There are a few places the 10mm wrench comes in handy, caliper and battery post are the first ones you usually discover.

Make sure it is a 12 point 10mm. I tried to ge the brake off with a non 12 point and jsut watched the 10 mm go round and round...

Default bridge bolts on calipers

just a metric 12 point socket or wrench 10mm ?

Default Socket size

Craftsman has a set of sockets that works for all of the bolts, they are special sockets. The only downside is that they are made in Taiwan.

OMG in ALL of my socket sets 10mm 12 point is one of two i am missing *cry*

*off topic a bit* concerning those *special sockets* that can handle like any different kind of head are they good? can you torque them with out them slipping off?
