My desire to change it is partly aesthetic and partly because I currently "believe" that the solid front wheel
IS affecting the handling, especially when the winds are squirrely in the late afternoon around here.

I'll let you know how it goes and what my results are.

And of course I'll have to take all new pictures too because I just replaced the stock grips with Kuryakyn ISO grips
and now the wheel is gonna be different too.

Sorry that I do not know what labor charges are for the replacement. I bought it like this.

For $110, I'd let him do it... I'd spend $110 at the store looking for more tools I didnt' need!

Look at it this way, for $110, they mount the tire and wheel and if they scratch it, they replace it, if you scratch it, you'll hit your foot with a hammer and look at that scratch every time you're on the bike.

Don't forget balancing the tire and new wheel.
