Default Re-locate or alter kick stand?

I ask this because even my awesome indy Harley owner is stumped. I have a 2003 fxdl with 11.5 progressives in back, and 4" over fork tubes. I love it....but it leans waaay over on the stand. Do I have to carry a block around or can I relocate the stand...alter the shape... the clearances don't allow anything the way they are now. Thanks

If you were on a Road King, I would say you need a wedge between the Kickstand plate and the frame. If a fxdl kick bolts up the same way (Kick stand plate bolts to frame) you make a spacer plate that re-angles the kickstand (maybe 3/16 thicker on one end).
