Default Lowering kits

Has anyone had good or bad luck with using a lowering kit in thier bikes? I'm inseam challenged and feel better with all of my both feet flat on the ground when stopped and sitting on my 2005 Road Glide so I have been thinking about trying one of the kits. Any advise?????Thanks
Mike

I have the lowered HD shocks on the rear and the lowered springs on the front. I am 5'10" and I sit flat footed. I really didn't need the lowered stance i just like the way it feels and handles.

I was having the same problem with my shovelhead bagger. I have a partially torn
calf maucle and a bad hip. I lowered the bike and it was still too tall.

You can also look at changing the seat to something that lowers you on the bike.
The hot rod bagger was lowered by flipping the swing arm. I don't know if the '05
design allows that The height is much more comfortable than before and I feel the
bike handles much better. This will also allow you to keep your stock air shocks.
