Default Caliper Problem!!

I noticed today that my rotor is grinding into my caliper, The pads still look good to me. It looks like maybe the pistons are not coming out on one side or more on one than the other, The pads are worn pretty even except that the side where the wheel is, started to grind into the caliper. Where should I even start to figure out how to solve the problem?

The rotor is grinding into the caliper? The rotor should always be between the caliper halves and never move either left or right, regardless of pad wear.

Who did the install on the front wheel?l

Local indy did em. Yea I’m pretty stumped myself. The bolts had two small washers on the same side and I’m thinking they should had been one on each side?

There are washers/shims available to space out the caliper and center it over the rotor. If the rotor is not pretty much centered, it needs to be.

Do this without the pads in the way, and when centered install the pads. You can do this yourself pretty easily. Make sense?

Yea I Can handle that. Only reason I had an indy install the wheels is because I didn’t know how to space or shim them out. I think hopfully I just need to give the pistons a good cleaning. THANKS for the info
