Default Handle bar dilemma ??

I'm new here and not sure if I'm posting this in the right place?
I tried the general forum but no replys?
anywhoo , I found these handle bares "Dropped Z Bars Handlebar for Harley FLST Heritage Softail" on line and think they will look great on my 99 softail that has a 4 degree raked trees and 4 in over tubes,I put simple quarter mile bars on but they don't have any character and find I'm reaching to far forward for my liking and they don't feel wide enough aswell.
The problem is the drop Z bars don't have the dimples for my controls, they are listed for 82 and earlier ,why I don't know ??
Can I cut the holes for the controls once I get the bars or something to make room for my wireing ??
I really like the look of these bars ,Any help would be appreciated

I don't recommend cutting your bars. Have you contacted the supplier and asked if they are available with dimples? That is the best way.

Ya, thanks for your reply , I was thinking more of a drilled hole ,thats the last resort for shore ,
I'm going to see a guy I know that restores bikes and I was thinking maybe different controls , prior to 82 there was no dimple and its just for the wires to get by the hardware that holds the brake and clutch leavers.

I just found that advert! Harley didn't make a softail for the years they mention. There are some similar bars here, with indents and here, so it is worth looking around. I searched using 'Dropped Z Handlebar'.

Ya thanks GrBrown,I guess thats why lol,
I assumed that those were the years the controls were different !lol
I've been all over and looked at all the distributers of z bars , the seller Debrix got back to me and said they don't do them so I can adjust the bar in different positions ,thus no placement for the dimple.
I found a u tube vid that explains a way to do it .
When I get them on I'll put up a picture they are really different
Cheers Joe

What do you think about drilling stock touring bars?
