Default risers

I have a 05 nighttrain, and it has 6" straight risers. I'm thinking of swapping them out for 9" with an inch pullback. My question is do I ned to replace any cables or wiring?

Default RE: risers

I think mine has a little more pullback than that (~2") and are 10" high and I needed to swap out my throttle and front brake line. The clutch was fine (although I changed it out to stainless as well) and there was enough slack in the wiring. That was basically the way I determined how high and far back I could go was by the amount of slack in the wiring... Also, I did a front tank rise very similar to Chopper Style ( http://www.chopperstyle.net/Night_Train.htm ) but had to make my own as they don't make one for the split tank... so that also influenced my rise and pullback as with the stock risers the bars came in contact with the speedo housing....
