How are the axle mounts, pinch bolts & other related hardware. Sounds sort of like a stripped or bent axle. I say so mostly because it seems it only does it while cycle is under load pressure.

I appreciate all the responses. Since the front tire is near the end of its life and it could be a root cause, I have dropped the bike off with an independent dealer that was recommended to me. They are going to put on a new front tire and check out the bearings and spacers while it is apart. If that does not solve the issue, then I will need to take a hard look at the brakes and rotor.

There are no add on(gps, speakers, etc) and bike is stock with the exception of pipes, engine guard, and a little chrome here and there. The clutch cable did have a noticable effect on the fall away test though, so that most likely explains the pull to left. Thanks Warpegs.

"check for loose rear spokes."
I have checked the front, but not the rear, once I get her back I will take a look at that as well.

Thanks again, I will post again with results from new tire.

Just a quick follow up. I had the front tire replaced, the tech said the old tire was not balanced correctly. He also said the bearings were fine. The new tire rides great and has eliminated nearly all the symptons. I still get a squeak when going around corners, but I am no longer sure it is coming from the front and I have now heard it on a right hand turn as well as a left. The tech said everything seemed to be aligned right and belt looks good. Thanks again for all the advice, these boards are a huge source of knowledge.

Make sure the brake caliper mounting bolts aren't too long and contact the brake rotor. Somehow I've had that problem twice on the same bike...with two different sets of forks. Had to shorten the caliper bolts.
