Pump for rear shock question
Just wondering if there is an alternative for an air pump to adjust the shocks other than a genuine HD one?

Get on eBay and search air pump and for under $30 you'll get an excellent one.

I have used a short bicycle pump for over twenty years, along with a low pressure tyre guage.

Why do you want something besides the Harley pump? Is it price? Performance?

Way back when i ran the stock air shocks, I went down to the local bicycle shop and bought a nice little pump with gauge cheap.

EBAY for $30 delivered to your house. Just make sure you get one with a 60 lb guage, not an unreadable 300 lb. one, ( That one is for bicycles.)
Mine works as good, ( and looks identical (?)) to the HD unit for $20 less and no tax to boot!

I haven't looked around for other choices and bought the expensive HD pump when I bought my ride. It's more money but ease of use and accuracy has been good so I'm satisfied. No reason why some other options wouldn't work though.
