Default RAISING an 07 Dyna FXDB

A lot of talk about lowering bikes, I'd like to raise mine a little (I'm tall).

It has 11.5 inch shocks on it now, can I just put 12.5 inch shocks on it? Is it that simple, or could I potentially cause other problems by putting longer shocks on it?

Default longer fxdb shocks

Standard shocks on the FXDB are 12.0 inches. Several Dyna models used to come with 12.6 inch shcoks. The FXDX sport model came with 13.3 inch shocks. The Progressive Suspension website cautions that shocks that are longer than stock may allow the axle to contact the exhaust.
