Default American Wire Wheels

Anybody have any experience with American Wire Wheels? I am considering replacing my Chrome Profile Laced wheels on an '05 Road King Classic. I like the idea of running tubeless because I could make on-the-road emergency repairs & no need to true the spokes or worry about them coming loose & the 40 spoke radial with its thick spokes has got to be stronger than my current wheels. Anything good or bad to say about these wheels? I searched and could not find much on the forum.

I had a set of 18" 80 spoke AWW's on my '99 RKC. They were sealed. Never a problem with them and they looked great. I wouldn't say you don't have to worry about a spoke loosening up though. It could happen. If it does, you will probably get a leak as the seal will be broken. The rim seal is basically a liquid urethane rim strip that hardens up.

Go for them. They are nice wheels. Here's a pic of them on the bike.

Had the AWW 80 spokes on my heritage softail. They were beautiful and very high quality. Never any problems but they were a pain to clean.
