Default Brake Pads

are there any better alternatives to stock HD brake pads out there? I've an 09 Ultra (non ABS) and needing to change the pads so looking for options prior to going to HD to get them.

I think I am going to try the EBC organic brake pads on my new wheels and rotors. The organics are reported to have a "good feel to them", but also do wear quicker (reports of them needing replacement in the mid to upper 20K range).

EBC also offers a sintered pad if you are looking for more mileage between pad changes.
